Christmas Eve 2009

So, we went to Wendell and Heather's house tonight for a couple of hours! Heather had worked all day and I worked today also. It was nice to see them. Hadn't seen them since the family reunion.

When we knocked on the door, Julia answered it! She was SO excited!

She had been playing and running around with Gabriel. He just turned 8! He is a good boy! They were both VERY excited about Christmas this year and all the fun it had to bring!

Then we got to meet the "new" addition! HERE SHE IS:

She has the longest, perfectly curled up eye lashes! She is going to have it made in that department! (She gets that from Wendell). She has the longest fingers, (She gets that from me). She weighs 9 lbs. 4 oz. and approx 20" long! She is a good baby! We talked and coo'd awhile, then I burped her and she fell asleep in my arms. So I laid her in the bassinet next to her Baby's First Dollie and she slept a good little nap!

Just thought I would share her with everyone, since you have been asking about her and I can finally connect with them to see her!

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL, AND TO ALL A GOODNIGHT!!!!

LOL ;)

So glad that Kendra is home with her parents where she belongs. Hopefully, now you will be able to have lots of quality "Nana-time" (or is it Grandma?). I hope that she will continue to be a happy and healthy baby. Keep the pictures coming, so we can see how she grows and develops. Thanks!! Merry Christmas to you and yours!!!

It's great seeing the pictures of Wendell's kids....thanks for sharing. There were 14 of us to dinner this evening at Pam's house. We had Rob's home-made from scratch lasagna, Pam's infamous glazed ham, carrots, homemade applesauce, brocolli, biscuits, potato/asparagras dish the family from Rob's job brought and too many desserts to count. Pam won't have to cook again for the entire weekend. We all took turn helping clean up and do dishes and then played several Wii games. Great evening. Tomorrow will be another busy day with stockings, brunch, and then the tree. Hope you have a great day tomorrow.
